Yes dear friends I’m going home

O what joy in my heart,

My Father and I will be together

we will never be apart.

He’s been so faithful to me

watched over me all my life,

Blessed me with so many blessings

thru’ His Son Jesus Christ.

He loves us from the beginning

right  thru’ till the end,

He’s done so much in my life

and is my dearest friend.

So dear friends may you be blessed

by His love and His word each day,

I will look forward to meeting you in heaven

where we will all remain.

How can you know that Jesus Christ is your personal Saviour and that you are on your way to Heaven?

You could enjoy the ultimate relationship, God and you. First, REALIZE that you are separated from God, just like everyone else, by sin (any action or thought that God says is wrong.(We’ve all got a list of those, don’t we?)Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned”

. And Romans 6:23 says “the wages  of sin is death”.

This is speaking of eternal separation from God…in a

place the Bible calls hell…pretty scary predicament.

Second REALIZE that God offers the solution! The rest of that verse says “but the Gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”. So God says, “Sure you’ve blown it..along with the rest of the human race..but, I have a gift for you that fixed EVERYTHING.. a Saviour!... just because I love you.”

 Romans 5:8 says

“But God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us!”  Even though we’ve mucked up..God says that Jesus already paid for our sins when He died, in our place, on the cross!

Are you willing to admit to your sin,to your need for a Saviour…and to believe in Jesus Christ as your Saviour?

Then RESPOND to God’s offer !  Romans 10:13 says

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”. You can accept God’s gift right now. Pray a simple prayer, admit your sin, and ask Jesus Christ to be your personal Saviour! God promises He will answer...and give you eternal life. (John 3:16)

Coming home, coming home,

Father I’m coming home,

I see the lights of heaven ahead

the glory from around your throne.

I’ve finished the course you had for my life

I’ve truly run the race,

I’ve tripped and fallen so many times

but got up when I’ve seen your face.

The look of love you gave me

the encouragement to carry on,

The comfort of your Holy Spirit

and your word to look upon.

I’ve never known such love

it’s more than I ever dreamed,

To you my Father I come each day

and on you I truly do lean.

So now it’s near my home coming

I think of dear ones left behind,

Please Father, draw them with your love

and give them peace of mind.

I pray they will know and love you

and walk with you each day,

and one day I will see them again

with you they will always stay.

Jude 24,25 Now unto him that is able  to keep you

1 Chronicles 29: 11-13

Heaven is closer to me

than it has ever been before,

I’m so glad that long ago

to Jesus I opened the door.

I hear the angels singing

such beautiful songs of praise,

To our glorious LORD and Redeemer

of everlasting days.

The Lion of the tribe of Judah

The Lamb that was slain,

All mighty and victorious

Praise His holy Name.

We will worship around the throne

with saints who’ve gone before,

Lifting our voices in thankfulness

To our God whom we adore.

Blessing, and honour,and glory,and power

unto our God above,

and to the Lamb for ever and ever

whom we so truly love.

Revelation 5:13  And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the thone, and unto the Lamb for ever and  ever.

Dear Father, completely surrendered and wholly yours

there’s none I desire but you,

All things on earth are strangely dim

in the glorious, wonderful view.

A city whose builder and maker is God

the street is of pure gold,

The gates are pearls O so beautiful

it’s all in your word we’re told.

You’re preparing the bride so glorious

thru’  your Holy Spirit within,

Every time more things are surrendered

you cleanse and fill within.

You draw us closer each day

‘till our thoughts are only of you,

Of our beloved LORD who died for us

so faithful and so true.

My whole being longs for you

to never lose sight of you LORD,

My heart is fixed, I will press on

for I know there’s so much more.

I’m heading to that finish line

the promised land on high,

To be with you my dear Father

the time is drawing nigh.

The night has come, the time is short

hear the Bridegrooms call,

Take up your cross and surrender

before Him humbly fall.

Cleanse your hands ye sinners

and purify your hearts,

Draw near to God and you will see

that He shall lift you up.

Are you ready and waiting

for the final call?

Have you come to our heavenly Father

And surrendered not part, but all?

Look up my friends,look up

Your redemption draweth nigh,

Be prepared and waiting

for the call from our Father on high.

James 4:7-10  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.

Revelation 19: 7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

Father,thankyou so much for yesterday

so many blessings to behold,

and for sharing your word wiith others

as the meanings of the scriptures unfold.

O what a joy to speak of your love

that is so amazing and true,

How you love each one of us so much

and we long to be faithful to you.

Another day is now here

and we come before your throne,

We ask once again for manna from heaven

that is given by you alone.

You bring your word to our hearts

as we read and pray each day,

You lay the table with such delicious food

that strengthens us on our way.

This precious time in the morning hours

when all is quiet within,

A time of sweet fellowship with you Father

to you my praise I bring.

Thankyou for another day

in which I’m feeling so much better,

Thankyou for seeing me thru’ this time

and just being able to be together.

  

Thankyou that I can trust in you

you never let me down,

You don’t lead me down the wrong path

then abandon me and turn around.

I know it’s taken so long O Father

to work thru’ all the things in my life,

The fears and insecurities

that used to pierce me like a knife.

But now I’m centred in your love

and rejoicing in you each day,

The joy of you Lord is truly my strength

as we’re walking together today.

Together,that is the answer

Hand in hand with you O LORD,

Looking to you in everything

and obeying what you’ve said in your word.

There’s no other way to live this life

there’s no greater friend than you,

O my dear Father I love you so much

I know you’ll see me thru’.

Ephesians 3: 17-19

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye,being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth,and length, and depth,and height; And to know the love of Christ,which passeth knowledge,that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

O Father how I love you

you’re everything to me,

You walk with me and talk to me

you’re the One who’s set me free.

I see you in the broken hearted

the sick and dying souls,

The ones who are in prison

the young and the old.

Jesus you came as a humble servant

may we be like you I pray,

Obeying our heavenly Father

and walking with Him each day.

O how we can trust you Father

you know our every care,

You feel our brokenness when we’re hurting

you hear our every prayer.

I hurt so much dear Father,

for my friends and ones so dear,

I’ve learned the best place to come

is to your listening ear.

You said to call unto you

and you would show us great and mighty things,

So to you I come and lift my heart

my friends to you I bring.

Please break the bondage in their lives

And set the captives free,

Please use them for your glory

And that they would humble be.

For in you we live and have our being

our lives belong to you,

You’ve bought us with the price of your Son

it’s His blood that cleanses right thru’.

To be hidden in you is such a joyous thing

it’s more than I could have dreamed,

To know your love so wide and so deep

it’s on you that I truly do lean.

No wonder I love you more and more

every day that I go thru’,

You’re my dearest friend and so very faithful

I long to be in heaven with you.

Matthew 25: 35,36  For I was an hungered,and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty,and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger and ye took me in:

 Naked, and ye clothed me:I was sick and ye visited me:

I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Jeremiah 33: 3 Call unto me,and I will answer thee,and shew thee great and mighty things,which thou knowest not.

1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

I’m so tired and weary but must carry on

there’s a home awaiting me up there,

All sorrow will be gone and joy will abide

never more for pain and tears.

It’s a new morning and the sky is ablaze

O Father the wonders of you,

Such beauty to behold when gazing up there

reminds me of your promises so true.

To seek you LORD and your strength

is a very good place to start,

As I begin this new day with you

I know you are in my heart.

O what a comfort it is to me

that you know how I feel,

O what a joy in my heart this day

as before you I do kneel.

You lift me up as I look to you

my heart is filled with praise,

You draw me past the wearisome load

you’re my joy and strength for today.
