O Father your love is so amazing

You are so gentle and kind,

How you poured your love out into my life

and gave me peace of mind.

I didn’t deserve your mercy

but you gave it anyway,

which I am so very grateful

and that I can never repay.

You gave because you loved me

you saw a broken and contrite heart,

You heard my cry for mercy

which you really did impart.

You put your arms around me

and forgave me of all my sin,

You picked me up and held me close

and brought healing to my heart within.

Now we walk together each day

and face the things it would bring,

You give to me such joy in my heart

and a new song to sing.

We’re walking together on this journey

that finally will bring me home,

and I’ll be with you in glory Father

never more this earth to roam.
