O Father you’re lifting me out of myself
and fixing my eyes on you,
Grounded firm and deep in your precious love
and teaching me the things to do.

The harvest is ripe but the labourers are few
you said one day in your word,
Tell precious souls the gospel of Jesus
for there’s many who still haven’t heard.

It’s not your will that any should perish
but that all should come to repentance,
but there’s many who’ll reject you and not believe
they’ll choose the dark instead of your presence.

Those who believe and repent
will ask Jesus into their heart,
They will be truly born again
and a new life for them will start.

I wouldn’t want to swap my life with Jesus
for anything else on this earth,
He is such a wonderful Saviour
there’s nothing compares to his worth.

No jewels or houses or land
There’s just nothing compares with Him,
He gave His life for us
and bore all of our great sin.

He rescued us out of the darkness
and brought us into the light,
He gave us his Holy Spirit
to teach us in this life.

Jesus laid down his very life
the gift of salvation so free,
There’s nothing we can do to earn it
all we have to do is receive.

O Father how much you love us
you poured out your love in your Son,
you sent him from glory to earth
that your perfect will would be done.

You’ve given us a promise of a heav’nly home
Something you said you would do,
when on this earth our life ends
you will bring us to glory with you.

So thank you Father for your love
and for the promises you’ve given us,
for giving us faith and to walk with you
and having one in whom we can trust.

For our lives belong to you Lord
you are so faithful and true,
Your ways are not our ways, I know,
but you will see us through.

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
