O Father how I shelter under your wings
I run to you and hide,
All the arrows that are meant for me
just seem to go on by.

You are my safety in the stormy blast
You’re the anchor for my soul,
I’m fastened to the rock that cannot move
as the billows roll.

You’ve held me fast in the floods of grief
the waters that were so deep,
The waves that seem to crash over my soul
but you my Father did keep.

You stood with me in the sands of time
as I felt they would suck me under,
but you kept me safe by your right hand
You truly are a wonder.

In my sickness, you are my strength
Your grace is sufficient for me,
For your strength is made perfect in my weakness
You set my spirit free.

I come to you with praise
unto your holy name,
I soar with you on wings of prayer
knowing you changeth not, you always are the same.

Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters,I will be with thee;and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned;neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
