Sadness seems to fill my heart

when I see the broken lives,

of children hurting ‘cos of broken families

and the pain in their eyes.

They’re like ships without a rudder

drifting in water so deep,

O how they need you Jesus

that you their souls would keep.

How do we show them you love them

your message of salvation to tell,

We must tell of you Lord Jesus

to save them from going to hell.

O how you do love them O Lord

Your grace so abundant and free

All they need to do is come to you

and your children they will be.

You said if we would repent

and ask you into our heart,

You would be our Lord and Saviour

and lead us along the right path.

You’d give us your Holy Spirit

to come and live within,

He will be our comforter

and you cleanse us from all our sin.

So thankyou Father for Jesus

who gave His life for us,

He died that we might have eternal life

that day upon the cross.
