The only way Father to enter this day

is with praise that fills my heart,

For you are so Mighty and Holy

it’s a very good place to start.

For it lifts our heart to you

past all that is going on,

For you so care about our every need

and to you we do belong.

Bless the LORD O my soul

and all that is within me,

For you my LORD changeth not

with you we’ll always be.

You are so very faithful

so merciful and kind,

Your compassions are new every morning

it brings me peace of mind.

I know I can come to the throne of grace

and know forgiveness when I have sinned,

I know you are with me each minute of the day

without you I couldn’t begin.

I love you dear Father, more each day

and the time I spend with you,

reading your word and praying

is the only way I can get through.
