To love someone with all your heart

Is such an amazing thing,

You think about them day and night

there’s such joy you want to sing.

You long to spend time with them

just to be in their presence,

You don’t even have to be talking

it doesn’t seem to make any sense.

But I believe it’s true Father

that’s why I want to be with you,

I love to spend time just reading your word

Your promises that  are so true.

I want to come home and be with you

my heart aches so very much,

I want you to hold me close to your heart

and feel that loving touch.

O Father you understand me completely

you know my every thought,

One day it will be time for me to come home

for my life, with your Son you have bought.

He died because you love us

it was the only way,

for He paid the penalty for our sin

so that in heaven we would stay.

So as I come before you Father

and rest my head upon your knee,

I thankyou that in heaven

pain and sorrow will not be.

For you will wipe away all tears

all sorrow will be gone,

We will worship around your throne

With a beautiful heavenly song.
