My nights are like a rollercoaster ride

Up and down and round about,

but I have a friend whose always with me

My Father whose there thru’out.

He keeps me calm when I can’t sleep

He stops me from getting distressed,

and as I look to Him and pray

I seem to find that place of rest.

How wonderful it is to have someone that loves us

and cares about our every need,

He gives us his word which will never pass away

it gives us strength and guidance as we read.

What a treasure his word is to us

we can hide it in our hearts,

as we read it in the morning

it gives our day a really good start.

No matter whether sick or well

or in Jesus we long for more,

Our Father who loves us so very much

on us His love he will pour.

He gives us strength from day to day

He guides us with his eye,

One day we’ll finish this journey

and be with Him on high.
