It is you O LORD I worship

my mouth is filled with praise,

I stand in awe and wonder

of the keeper of my days.

Your love and presence are with me

as I walk each day with you,

Your nearness seems to grow stronger

each day that we go through.

I don’t understand what is happening

and I’m not going to question why,

For I love and trust you Father,

and one day I’ll be with you on high.

I don’t know what the future holds

but I know that you do Lord,

and there are so many scriptures to lean on

that come out of your precious word.

I do not need to worry

for you have everything in your hands,

So I can rest in your everlasting arms

knowing for my life it’s your will and plan.

You take us thru’ the waters

and thru’ the rivers too,

You’re our shelter when the storm comes

our hiding place is in you.

You will cover us with your feathers

and under your wings we shall trust,

Your truth shall be our shield and buckler

so run to you we must.

You are Alpha and Omega

the beginning and the end,

You’re my Lord and my redeemer

You’re my very dearest friend.
