O Father you bring such joy to my heart

like nobody else can do,

You’re with me every breath that I take

for my life belongs to you.

From the early hours of the morning

when the birds sing unto you,

‘Till the evening’s beautiful sunset

then all the long night through.

You are my wonderful companion

You are my dearest friend,

You’ve walked with me on this journey

right unto the end.

I know you’re waiting for me

You’re watching with such love,

When I take my very last breath

I’ll be with you Father above.

I wait upon that day

with joy that fills my heart,

I long to see you Father

and from this world depart.

I know I will bow before you

and thank you for your great love,

for providing a way through Jesus

for me to be in my home above.
