The birds in the treetops sing their praise

as the day begins,

They herald the new dawn as the sun rises

it causes my heart to sing.

To see the magnificence of creation

of the glories that we see,

The wonders in your precious word

you set our spirit free.

You’re the one who gives a heav’nly song

as we come closer every day,

The glories of heaven become dearer to us

as we read your word and pray.

The blessings we have in Christ

your Son you freely gave,

Because you loved the world so much

He came our souls to save.

There is such great rejoicing

when we belong to you,

We come thru’ Jesus your precious Son

you watch over us all day thru’.

So once again I thankyou Father

for the promise of eternal life,

of the hope of our eternal home

thru’ our Saviour Jesus Christ.
