As the Farmer watches over his seeds

to see what yield they will bring,

So we wait, watching the times

as we await our coming King.

Longing for His return

as we see the wickedness here,

Having to keep looking up to the LORD

so as I’m not filled with fear.

He said we need not fear

Tho’ there be earthquakes and mountains fall into the sea,

for God is our refuge and strength

our help in trouble He will be.

O what a comfort it is to me

to have His precious word,

we can have assurance in our LORD

no matter what we’ve heard.

For all the promises of God in Christ

are yea and Amen,

So we can trust in our eternal God

right unto the end.

For he will never leave nor forsake us

He’s with us all the way,

So we can trust Him with all our heart

 while awaiting that eternal day.
