There are many things happening in the world

we are nearer the return of the Lord,

We need to lift our eyes to Him

and obey what He says in His word.

One day every eye shall see Him

He cometh with the clouds,

We are nearer the return of Jesus

we know not what the hour.

We must always be watching and praying

waiting for His return,

but walking with Him daily

and trusting him as we learn.

We need to be sharing the gospel

to those who haven’t heard,

for our Father in heaven loves them

he tells us in His word.

He’s not willing that any should perish

but that all should come to repentance,

and accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour

and save them from sins awful sentence.

For the wages of sin is death

but the gift of God is eternal life,

This comes thru’ receiving Jesus

who said his burden is light.

So there’s many things yet to happen

many souls to His kingdom to come,

but we’re blessed to have his word

To know the victory is won.

In the end every knee shall bow

things in heaven, in and under the earth,

and will confess that Jesus is Lord

He who came with such humble birth.

To the glory of God the Father

who sits upon the Throne,

who liveth for ever and ever

This is our eternal home.

Philippians 2: 9-11

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
