O Father you know there’s things happening today

and that I can’t sleep,

There’s dear people upon my heart

who I pray that you will keep.

I feel so very helpless

to help them in their life,

So I come to you O Father

That you’ll do for them what’s right.

Only you know all about them

your love for them is great,

So as you work lovingly in their lives

a vessel for you, you make.

I pray that they too will know your love

in a way they’ve never known before,

how wide how deep how high

is your precious love O Lord.

Father your love never fails

it’s truly unconditional,

it flows into the deepest valleys

and heals the troubled soul.

It brings a peace and comfort

it washes the fears aside,

It’s a love that’s so amazing

a love in which we abide.

It fastens us within the veil

It guides us as we pray,

It brings us to a closer fellowship

with you O Father each day.

In love to a sinner you came

through Jesus from above,

You drew me close to your heart

and filled me with your great love.

Your wonderful love that rescued me

cleansed me from sin so deep,

filled me with your Holy Spirit

and in your love doth keep.
