I am so tired and weary Father

but I love you so very much,

I want to put my head on your shoulder

and feel your loving touch.

I truly come as a child comes

to her daddy she loves,

You are so strong my daddy

and so very wise,

Will you please help me thru’ today

‘cos your strength I need inside.
