O Father if anything should happen to me

please keep me close to your heart,

If I were not able to praise you

You’ve promised you’ll never forsake.

No one knows what is going to happen

each day as we go thru’,

but I hold on to your promises

that one day I’ll be with you.

I love you so much Father

please hear my prayer today,

  as I surrender to your holy will

I know that with you I’ll stay.

Father as I walk with you today

you hold me by my hand,

Please keep me so very close to you

For it is only in you I can stand.

Please bring me home to glory

where I can worship at your throne,

Where I can join with the saints of old

In my eternal home.
