The pain of sin goes on and on

of offending our gracious Father,

His mercy and grace are so undeserved

but His love is like no other.

He pours it out to us His children

as we in broken and contrite heart,

Come before Him in brokenness

and His love and forgiveness He imparts.

He watches and draws us with the cords of love

He gave His all in Jesus His Son,

There was no other way to redeem us

no other way for the victory to be won.

O how amazing is His love

He had a plan from the very beginning,

We see in His word His great faithfulness

and His love for those who are sinning.

Jesus said, “Come unto me all ye that labour and

are heavy laden

and I will give you rest,”

“Come learn of me” He also said,

I tell you it’s by far the very best.

For me to live is Christ

I couldn’t get thru’ a day without Him,

I feed upon His word each day

and it brings peace and joy within.

So as I carry on in this journey

Looking to my Father above,

He will bring me safely home

by His grace and mercy and love.
